Found under Pinus radiata and Leptospermum scoparium in native New Zealand bush.
All parts staining red with damage, this species also has a long pseudorhiza up to half the length of the stipe which can be up to 140mm in length!

sorry, I just edited that, herbarium specimen available, Joshua Birkeback will receive a package from me in the near future for his study so Else will be able to examine all Lepiota specimens I have saved!
