(1) dark, blackish thallus
(2) abundant, “hands in the air,” orange-brown apothecia
(3) whitish, non-confluent rhizines shaped like little shaving brushes

Recognized by sight: The flat apothecia give it away, and I think you can see the concentric rhizines in the last photo — see how you can see a whole line of them just under the margin?
