Notes: Completely white except for a few areas of yellow along the cap and on the disc.
Growing from well-decayed wood in a standing stump. Not growing from buried wood (the decayed wood was about 20 inches above ground level). Stipe root buried at least 8 inches in substrate. Cap margin grooved. Cap surface viscid; observation made during cool weather following rainfall.
Spores with lengths up to about 18 mu.
