Observation 216319: Boletus luridellus (Murrill) Murrill
When: 2015-09-17

Notes: Growing near both pine and oak, though closest to oak (and that’s not saying much – neither of the nearest trees were closer than twenty meters away). Tube mouths stain blue. Stipe is reticulate with shots of red (pre contact) and blue (post contact) staining; its flesh stains red, then blue.

I would really like to know what these handsome fellows are or could be.
