Found at base of Douglas Fir, in needle duff. Staining saffron immediately after cutting, stalk bruising brownish. Spore print white.

Used references: New to Lepiotas and the like, I was pointed to C. rachodes upon inquiry on a ID forum. Upon further examination the bulb has such a defined ridge-line, I was directed to C. brunneum.
