Several fruiting in damp shade at the bottom of a hillside in Oak-Hickory forest. Largest cap: 4.3 cm. wavy, irregular margin, false gills running down the stem, some cross veins. Photos #2989 and #2990 most accurately reflect the actual color of the specimens. Lighting was a challenge on this overcast day. Stem: 3.5 cm. X 1 cm.
