Observation 216439: Panellus stipticus (Bull.) P. Karst.

When: 2015-09-18

Collection location: Standish, Cumberland Co., Maine, USA [Click for map]

Who: Michael Kennedy (m005kennedy)

No specimen available

Notes:
A friend brought these to me. They are from a swampy area in Standish, Maine. The area was filled with them. The ones I have are less than a quarter of an inch wide and bioluminescent gills. I rehydrated the stick and then took a 30 second exposure. The glow was very, very faint. I used Photoshop to enhance the contrast.
