Recognized by sight: Soft volval material that has gotten dragged up the stalk. Yellow cap with small flakes of uv material.

I still have the dried material for this obs. I will include the specimens in my next parcel to you. I should be sending it out sometime this week.

the rings of internal limb volval material dragged up the stipe in an unusual manner. In persicina the rings of internal limb material are often weakly developed and, hence, not in the usual position at the base of the stem. In this case the volval material is present in robust rings, but has managed to get destributed over much more of the stipe than is usual.
