Observation 21711: Marasmius pulcherripes Peck
When: 2009-06-03
No herbarium specimen
0 Sequences

This pretty pink Marasmius was growing from a pile of sticks and leafs in a dry gully near the top of where two hills come together. Lots of fungi were fruiting in that little spot, which is about the size of a one-car garage. There was a large standing dead tree there, which provided some cover. I hung out there for about fifteen minuits photographing mushrooms in the rain.

About five of my observations from 03jun09 were taken in that one little microclimate.
