Observation 217738: Armillaria (Fr.) Staude
When: 2015-09-27

Notes: These were growing rather scattered on the same log that the Leucopholiota decorosa were.
Caps only up to 3.8 cm across, with a thin white cottony veil initially covering the gills.
Spore print was whitish to sl. yellow. Spores were not amyloid.
Spores ~ 6.1-7.9 X 4.1-5.0 microns, mostly ellipsoid.
Q(avg) = 1.50.
Armillaria is what I’m guessing could be the closest genus and something to use as a starting point.
