Single fruit-body growing on ground debris in mixed woods.
Cap 3.3 cm across.
Spores dark salmon.
Spores ~ 6.0-7.2 X 5.0-6.1 microns, mostly broadly ellipsoid, smooth.
Q(avg) = 1.21
Pleurocystidia abundant, usually with sharp-ended prongs, ~ 65 X 19 microns.
Some Cheilocystidia acuminate.
Also noted some globose cellular elements on portions of the gills(see photo)
