Observation 218278: Suillus anomalus T.J. Baroni, Largent & Thiers
When: 2015-10-08
(47.4166° -123.2701° 466m)
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This specimen was in even worse shape than our original vouchered collection. Somewhat rotting, attacked by Hypomyces? and very soft. It still had that gummy worm texture, and less but still notably decurrent gills. Didn’t retain it, but the location is now exact, and it’s been found there twice. Or as exact as my GPS can get in the trees.
