You could sort things out a bit if your have some 5-10% KOH solution and/or a microscope.
If the stem was largely buried in the ground, then this might be a species of Amanita subsection Limbatula (A. cylindrispora). The cap would not turn yellow in response to a drop of KOH solution, and the spores would be about 3 times as long as they are wide. The species would not contain amatoxins, but might contain some other toxin or toxins:
Otherwise, this would probably be a destroying angel of Amanita section Phalloideae. In this case, there is a good chance that you would get a yellow reaction to the drop of KOH. Also, most of these species have globose to subglobose to broadly ellipsoid spores. They also contain deadly amatoxins. Here are some reference links for this group:

It will not be complete…especially in section Vaginatae in which there are many, many undescribed species.
