Habitat: in grasses under Crepes Myrtle and Oaks. Area is under sprinklers. Only one found.
Taste: did not
KOH: no reaction on top of cap, slight yellowing in stem context.
Ammonia: no reaction
Iron Salts: no reaction on top of cap or on stem but gills did turn gray.
Spore Print: white

Cap: 5 cm across. Margin is lined for 0.8 cm. Center top, umbro, brown, almost tacky feel but not quite.
Gills: ivory color. Free from stem, see photos. Max breadth – 0.5 cm to cap surface – pileus context at location is very thin, ~0.1mm.
Stem: ivory with tan scaled coating. hollow. See photos for length. Rooted at base. Width: 0.6cm top, 0.5cm min, 0.9cm bottom. Length: 7.5 cm total, 5 cm to top of sack, 6.5 cm to volva. I saw no evidence of an annulus but I did see evidence of material on the stem near the base where the volva pulled away from the stipe.
Volva: sac-like, light tan, 1.5 cm long – 1.1cm wide.
Staining: None observed on tearing or cutting.
