Looking at the data on Russulales News, R. paludosa does not fit on the following points

Cap diameter: 10-20 cm (These mushrooms were smaller)

Warts Medium (0.5-1.0 µm) (Many warts on these spores are over 1µm)

Presence of lines/chains connecting 3-5 warts (These spores have no lines or chains)
