Brought into the PSMS annual wild mushroom show by Mark Reed, collected in Eastern Washington.

Seems HUGE and lacks purple tones for G. infula and G. ambigua, and out of season for G. esculenta.

I found several of these in Eastern Washington, less than a month ago. Biggest was about 10".

We have lilacs blooming in our N CA garden right now, so all bets are off as to “normal” time of fruit and flower!
