Observation 218602: Leucocoprinus cepistipes (Sowerby) Pat.
When: 2015-10-09
(37.8726° -122.2644° )
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in a lawn.
Spores stained in meltzers solution proved to be dexrinoid.
I arrived at my identification using the keys in California Mushrooms. I went through light spored mushrooms to Lepiotoid Fungi. I used the pileus shape and squamules color to narrow it down to Leucocprinus cepistipes.
