Yeah sorry, I didn’t see that the ‘summary’ title was the beginning of the comment. Without those four words, I interpreted the meaning in a more negative light. Had to re- read it.

I don’t know why the taxonomy is so muddled, could you explain this ‘turbo taxonomy’ more? Thanks for suggesting a name.

with a genus. the onslaught of new names via proper papers was enough, but the added turbo taxonomy via IF is just too much. Rheubarbariboletus? really?

whatever the “current” first name, the last name is likely zelleri.
