Observation 219364: Russula Pers.
When: 2015-10-05
No herbarium specimen

Notes: While watching a show, I was eating the pictured meal, containing a variety of mushrooms. Suddenly during the show I bit into a remarkably flavorful, sweet, and pleasantly firmly textured mushroom. It was the pictured Russula.

The flavor was so remarkable that I lost concentration on the show. I had to re-watch after finishing it, because it was that flavorful. But, what is it? I found it in Waterford, CT last week.
