Notes: Live oak woodland habitat along Van Gordon Creek. Substrate is Quercus agrifolia bark. Very common.

Abundant large apothecia on a continuous, ± rimose, grey thallus, soredia absent. Apothecia epruinose, with thick thalline margin, concolorous with thallus, outer margin cortex C+R, disk orange, C+R. Algal cells continuous in a think line from margin to margin.
