Almond scented, clung to by multiple small water droplets at cap apex and gills, slightly pithy stem(like a bit firmer, more fibrous russula stem), waxy overall. Brown cap, fading to white at margin(slightly granulose on margin). Fruiting in mid elevation moss-under old growth Douglas fir.

Elevation: 1800ft.

Temp: low 50’s.

West of Cascades.
