I had no idea how to pursue this. It was certainly helpful that I knew the EXACT species of the plant. I have been looking at plants a much longer time than fungi. The plant genus has been changed several time since I first learned it. The USDA plant data base calls it Hymenoxys. The name may be changed, but the “face” is the same. I found more Puccinia species here in Missouri this year, but was not able to pin down the plant genus. Think I will work on that this next year since Puccinia is interesting to me. THANKS so much for your help.
