that wood looks more like oak now that I reexamine it.
The fruitbody itself looks more like L. conifericola to my eye, but they are variable and there is some overlap.

I was seeing a lot of these on oak today, but I did see a couple on conifers as well. They were everywhere. I could be wrong about this one.
