I know it’s late to answer, but thank you for this information. I will change my ID, as the cap here is clearly rugulose.

How to tell C. vibratilis and C. causticus apart.

The C. vibratilis cap is completely smooth. The C. causticus cap has some roughness. I had some trouble telling the two species apart, until I was told this.
