Observation 220347: Amanita dulciarii Tulloss nom. prov.

> Collected on Gates Road not too far away from obs 220345
> A gregarious family of ~10 fbs at different stages of development
> The oldest specimen (collected) had a 7cm cap and ~12 cm long stipe
> The youngest “button” (not collected) had a bullet-shaped cap of rich yellow-brown color

I still have the glass slides with the spore print from one of these specimens. The print is 1 year old now, so maybe it’s time to sit down and measure the spores. :-) The dry deposit visualized at x400 minutes ago showed globose to subglobose spores, which is consistent with A. dulciarii. The spores have lost moisture and some show dented/dimpled walls.
