just because it looks like L. arida, or even Lachnellula for that matter, doesn’t not make it so. The fungi of the Neotropics are poorly known. You will need microscopy to make identifications of this degree of specificity. Photographic similarity to European or North American taxa is not enough. Don’t take my word for it. Anyone at AscoFrance.fr will tell you the same. I encourage you to upload this there and see what they have to say.
