Observation 220607: Amanita porphyria Alb. & Schwein.

Notes: The center stuffed part into the center part of the cap context was becoming or was gelatinous looking. Found near Beech, Yellow Birch, Hemlock. Spores spherical, 8µm in diameter. Tonight there was some grey staining apparent on the stipe, it was grey and streaky with white like Amanita jacksonii almost, but much more subtle.
