Isolated multiple times from the surface of a specimen of Tomophagus colossus sent to me from Port Charlotte Florida.
Pink to light red colonies, the white colonies may be due to exposure to UVC.
I am not familiar with yeasts but this seems to fit the general description of Rhodotorula.
Cells are 3-5x 3-4 µm
