Observation 220969: Lycogala Adans.
When: 2015-10-29
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Small round bright orange group of fungi on a dead and well decayed log. The bright orange balls, (for a better name?), were well attached to the host.
When I removed one and bisected it, an Orange liquid flowed freely from the cut. The fungi was soft to handle, but I did have some difficulty bisecting one, even with a sharp blade. (it was spungy).
