Observation 221164: Psilocybe cyanescens Wakef.

When: 2015-10-25

Collection location: Tillamook, Tillamook Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Leah Bendlin (Leah Bendlin)

No specimen available

Notes:
In dune grasses, in an area frequented by people.

The habitat is right for P. azurescens, but was also mixed with some woody debris near a camp site. The occurrence is a bit far south, and also a bit early, for P. azurescens, and the wavy caps present in most specimens are more consistent with P. cyanescens.
