Observation 2212: Gliophorus psittacinus (Schaeff.) Herink

Notes: These were the star of the weekend, there were lots of these out there. Usually these are rare, and only a few come in everyother year. But this year everyone brought in a few, and there was a big pile at the end of the day.

They all turned light yellow to pink in a few hours, with only a few showing spots of green. In the photo you can see some of the green going away.

The next morning all the green was gone. Except for this one, that was still all green the next morning. Not sure if that was another species or not, too tired to check anymore at that point.
