Observation 22124: Entoloma subgenus Nolanea (Fr. : Fr.) Noordel.

When: 2009-06-11

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
Pinkish gills. This was a sizable sucker, about five cm across and three to four high. It was also solitary; I didn’t see any more like it anywhere.

It was found in Zone 10 which has a very long list of nearby tree species: Abies balsamea, Acer rubrum, Acer spicatum, Betula papyrifera, Pinus strobus, and Quercus bicolor.
