Observation 22125: Suillus Gray

When: 2009-06-11

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Found these growing in Zone 15 under jack pine. There were just the two of them that I saw. Couldn’t quite get my camera to resolve pores as more than a sort of granularity of light and dark pixels.

On June 16, five days later, I found the one I hadn’t uprooted on the 11th about 2/3 eaten by something. I uprooted it and took the last two photos of this observation.
