Observation 221472: Gymnopilus luteofolius (Peck) Singer
When: 2015-10-31

Notes: Fruiting on a very pithy, well rotted deciduous stump in our friend’s backyard. Rained almost 4 inches this weekend. Very dark pink, wet capped specimens, gills vibrant yellow, pinkish fibrillose stems, universal orange veil.

Temp: low 40’s.

Elevation: Sea level.
