Notes: Found on a decayed hardwood log, probably but not certainly an oak. There were a couple better formed caps, both reddish-brown and densely hairy, but most of the fruitbody is resupinate. Tubes are up to 1 cm deep and slowly bruise brownish, as do the exposed tubes. Flesh white and spongy, not changing. No odor.
I welcome other suggestions for an ID.
