Notes:
Appearing terrestrial, presumably fruiting from buried roots in an area where a mature tree had previously been cut down. Cap: 8 cm., dry, glossy with hairy center. Stipe; 7 cm. X 1.3 cm., slightly enlarged toward base, streaked with brownish fibers. Flesh: firm, white, unchanging. Obtained salmon-pink spore print.
