I also want to mention that I am not any kind of expert in slime molds. In fact, this is the first I’ve identified ever. I don’t feel comfortable ascertaining this name as anything near definite. My instinct says that this seems unique given its hot pink ooze…On the other hand, the kingdom fungi is vastly complex and varied. For all I know there could be 50 variations of slime molds that portray these features.
