No herbarium specimen

Notes: Have been finding these everywhere in my yard, can’t walk a few feet without running into a big patch of ’em.
Location: Estacada, OR – growing on lawn & mulch.
Features: 3in stem, light/dark brown gradient in color, bluing between gills? bruising is brown/red.

Please post more photos! This is interesting!

Try including something neutral in at least one image of many individual mushrooms, something grey, ideally, so we can have a kind of calibration reference for this blue color in the hymenium. Also, best to do this under natural daylight and against a more or less neutral background (sidewalk, picnic table, piece of wood, paper, etc.).
