I’ll leave it at Hygrocybe. Maybe a psychic could determine the species.
in my eyes this is very unlikely. The fruitbodies are too uniformely orange, the campanulate caps don’t look very typical for miniata and the ecology would also be strange.
Nearly no yellow-orange-red Hygrocybe species can be determined without microscopical details, especially not in the miniata-group.
I think it would be a necessary study to compare the european and the american collections with the same determination. I have the strong feeling that many of them will be seperate taxa and that most of the american species of Hygrocybe don’t occure in Europe and vice versa.
