Notes: A second collection sent to me of Ganoderma curtisii and Ganoderma sessile inhabiting the same tree.

Included is micrographs showing the differing spore morphology, and a close up of the pores of G.sessile showing distinctive dried resin, typical of members of the G.resinaceum complex.

Specimen 144 is Ganoderma sessile
Specimen 145 is Ganoderma curtisii

Both species were growing from the same Oak tree.
