Observation 223033: Corticiaceae sensu lato

When: 2015-11-15

Collection location: Baden, Beaver Co., Pennsylvania, USA [Click for map]

Who: Bob Zuberbuhler (Bob Z)

No specimen available

A bumpy white crust found on dead wood. Fig. 3 suggest that the crust is really made up of small white spheres. Whitish to brownish zoned shelves are also present, within the crust or beside it. The shelf underside is toothed, illustrated in cross section in the final figure. I suspect the crust and shelves are different species. In any event, what is the ID of the crust?
