Think I found it. Unstaining Rhizopogon, olive-green gleba, pleasant odor – Rhizopogon villosulus.

This was found in the trail, surrounding the trail is a mixed forest primarily douglas fir, white fir, pine, cedar and oak. The understory is brushy oak relatives. The scent is hard to explain but not unpleasant. If you have any use of the specimen, I am willing to part with half of it.

confirmed. Could you tell us more about the scent? Under what trees was it found? I hope for a species for this one.
