Fd. in grass, near Gingko biloba, Quercus palustris, and apple. Closest to Gingko biloba (about 6 feet from trunk).


In situ.
Specimen in hand is 3-4 inches long. Stipe is light reddish at top near cap, becoming dark reddish near bottom, then turning yellow-reddish at base.
Close-up of gills which are pink-tinged off-white, and white edged.
