Found in grassy area near Japanese maple. Cap is 2-3 inches across; red to bread-crust brown near edge, finally white edged on outside of cap. Gills are slightly descending, fleshy-brown, and white edged. Annulus is prominent, white, and appears to have left remnants on edge of cap. Stipe is 3 inches long, rather thick (to 1cm). Whitish striations also on stipe, almost scale-like.
