DIFFERENT SPECIES, please ignore!
Found right next to the cut one above, I assume it is the same in different maturity stage
found in private property among kinds of fir, pines and many more trees in the proximity

Ben you are right, the last photo of a single intact mushroom is a different species. I just see now way to erase that photo.
All please consider only the other 2 photo with the mushroom sliced.

First two photos look like a Suillus, last one (from your other observation?) is different. Notice that the underside of the mushrooms is different: one has pores while the other has gills.
