Notes: Cespitose on beech or oak. Odor not pronounced, taste farinaceous. Hairs at the stem base yellowish.
Basidia 4-spored (some perhaps 2-spored), ~30 x10 with sometimes long sterigmata (10 microns). Spores ~9×5. Cheilocystidia forming sterile band, ~30×10, with excrescences ~10 microns. No pleurocystidia.
