Observation 223499: Austroboletus roseialbus Fechner, Bonito, Lebel & Halling

Growing in complete shade on Eucalyptus rain forest floor, (in soil).
Cap off white as stipe. Spore print light brown.

Thanks for the heads up, Ian. Yes, this is an Austroboletus and is not described to my knowledge. I’m fairly sure your Obs is the same as what we found at Swans Crossing on 23 April. Go here to see that specimen. Image of spores included. Thanks!


I think this will possibly belong to the Austroboletus family. The light brown spore print and brown tubes has me beat.
