Observation 223579: Leucogaster rubescens Zeller & C.W. Dodge
When: 2015-11-20
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Bluing in the slice noted over about 15 minutes. No watery exudate was noticed at that time. I noticed it had developed when I checked on it about 4 hours later.

Forest with primarily Doug fir and vine maple.

Spores 9-10 × 11-12.5 microns, spiny-honeycomb-reticulate, really neat. Inamyloid.

Peridium turns (more) red in KOH.
