Observation 223929: Boletaceae Chevall.
When: 2015-11-26

Notes: Single fungi growing in Eucalyptus semi-rainforest area, (dryer), in bank close to exposed tree roots but not attached. Stipe extremely long by normal standards and some colouring (yellow/green) fading away from pileus. Tested for bruising, (see jpg 77561 3oclock rhs), but did not change colour. May be Boletellus…..

seen the likes of this before, Ian. Other than a Boletus s.l., that’s about as far as I can go. Spores are fusoid and smooth.
