Notes: Just north of the Big Creek Scenic Area in the Sam Houston National Forest, within a few meters of Big Creek, in leaf litter in association with some of the westernmost Beech trees in Texas mixed with Loblolly Pine. The largest caps were ~2.5 – 3 cm in diameter.
